Friends of the HPL
Who are the Friends of the Harrington Public Library (FOHPL)?
We are book lovers, information seekers, readers, listeners, music and movie buffs. We are a diverse group, comprising young and old, with a range of interests and backgrounds. We all treasure ideas and value the public library as a vital community resource.
The Friends raise funds and advocate for the library, volunteer for projects and special purposes, and promote awareness through events at the library and in the Lake Forest community. The Friends are dedicated to supporting literacy through book sales and special initiatives.
